The City of East Orange designated Polaris American to build (2) two-family houses in the heart of the “Teen Streets” at a site located at 87 North 18th Street. We submitted a comprehensive proposal for the proposed redevelopment site, and we appreciate the strong vote of confidence that the City of East Orange has placed in us to follow through and build the apartment houses.

We are grateful to the City of East Orange, especially Mayor Ted R. Green, City of East Orange Policy, Planning and Development Director Daniel Jennings, the Greenwood Redevelopment Committee Councilmembers of the 5th and 4th Wards—Councilmember Holman (5th Ward),  Council Member Brent (5th Ward) Council Member Gomez (4th Ward), Council Member Garrett-Ward (4th Ward).

We are especially grateful to Council Member Holman for her detailed and creative feedback regarding the proposed architectural and construction of the proposed two apartment houses.

Once complete, the (2) two-family houses, will provide four families with access to quality affordable housing and contribute to the revitalization of the Teen Street area. We are proud to say that our contractor will be Miller Construction Contracting LLC an East Orange based MBE owned enterprise with more than 34 years of experience in residential construction.
